The team at Scarborough Orthopaedics is dedicated to helping our patients get the proper care that they need. We specialize in orthopaedic surgery for a wide range of medical conditions. CAROLINE Y. SCOTT, MD FRCS(C) FAAOS

Dr. Caroline Scott attended Cornell University for her undergraduate studies while she was captain of the varsity women's ice hockey team. She did her medical training at University of Toronto. Dr. Scott was part of an innovative educational program at U of T called the competency based curriculum that aims to revolutionize how surgeons are trained worldwide. She completed her orthopaedic residency at University of Toronto in 2015. She obtained fellowship training at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in traumatic injuries and lower limb reconstruction. Dr. Scott has done international work in Zambia and Uganda working with local surgeons and physicians.

MARY CHRISTINE YOUNG, MD FRCS(C) FAAOS (retired from scarborough practice 2021)

Dr. Young practiced in the Scarborough community since 1987. She retired from practice in Scarborough in 2021. Dr. Young remains involved in sports medicine and various medical associations. She has served as team physician with the Canadian National Women's Hockey Team.
